I know I have a pointy head

I know I have a pointy head
and that I'm long an narrow
but still that archer had me right
to use me as an arrow

  1. Tell me, is the rose naked
or is that her only dress?

    Why do trees conceal
    the splendor of their roots?

    Who hears the regrets
    of the thieving automobile?

Is there anything in the world sadder
than a train standing in the rain?

  2. SCALE
    by Shel Silverstein

If I could see the scale,
I’m sure that it would state
    That I’ve lost ounces…maybe pounds
    Or even tons of weight.
    “You’d better eat some pancakes—
    You’re skinny as a rail.”
I’m sure that’s what the scale would say…
If I could see the scale.

  3. I'm Nobody!
    Emily dickinson

    I'm Nobody! Who are you?
    Are you Nobody too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd banish us, you know!

    Ho dreary to be Somebody!
How public - like a Frog-
To tell your name the livelong June
    To an admiring Bog!
